This smart coil kit uses Porsche Cayenne coils to eliminate the PTU and increase ignition output. Each kit includes genuine Bosch Porsche Cayenne coils, plug and play harness adapters, and a PTU bypass harness. These coils can be used with a factory ECU, although adjusting the dwell time via Nistune or other aftermarket ECU will yield increased spark output. Please understand that, while this is avery common modification for the 300zx, these are not factory ignition coils.
These coils are a little shorter than the Audi R8 coils which can make for easier installation.
Ships as a kit. One kit required per vehicle.
